Goats, also known as Mountain Goats,[1] appear in the Super Mario franchise as stage obstacles on the Daisy Hills course in Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Tour. Goats appear near the third turn and walk slowly around the track. They can be heard bleating when racers drive near them. A vehicle that crashes into a goat will spin out and lose three coins. Goats also appear in Amsterdam Drift 3R.

In the Super Mario Mash-up in Minecraft, the Goat's traditional design from Minecraft is replaced by the goat's design used in the Mario Kart series. The Goat Horn item texture is also changed to match the yellow color of the Mario Kart goat.
