Fury Cats are evil versions of kittens and calico cat parents that appear as enemies while Fury Bowser is active in Bowser's Fury. They are black with red eyes and ears, have spiked tails and fur on their heads and backs, and have a red aura emanating from them. When Fury Bowser appears, all kittens and calico cat parents on Lake Lapcat turn into Fury Cats and chase after Mario if he is nearby, damaging him if they make contact. Fury Cats are virtually invincible, though hitting them with fireballs or boomerangs knocks them a short distance away, while clawing at them may stun them for a moment. Mario can also cause them to disintegrate by coming into contact with them as Invincible Mario or Lucky Cat Mario, though they reappear later on. When Fury Bowser returns to his inactive state, all of the cats return to normal.
