Poplins with the main characters of Super Mario Bros. Wonder

The Poplins are a race of Toad-like creatures seen with flower buds or blooming flowers on their heads who make their debut in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. They are inhabitants of the Flower Kingdom, ruled by Prince Florian. Poplins have olive skin and round black eyes with white pupils, and wear outfits based on traditional Arabian clothing, including what resembles a hijab under their buds/flowers.

Poplins appear throughout Super Mario Bros. Wonder and assist Mario and co. in their journey by hosting Poplin Shops in various worlds. Others are imprisoned by Bowser at the end of courses. After reaching the Goal Pole, the Poplin is freed and will reward the player with a Wonder Seed as thanks. If the player completes a level in Elephant form with water stored in their trunk, they will water the Poplin, causing the bud on their head to bloom.[1]
