Busted! is a microgame in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! (where it is known as I Spy), found in the introduction folder, and returns as one of Wario's Mash League microgames in WarioWare Gold. Its current name is a term that is said when someone catches someone else doing something wrong, whereas originally it was named after the "I Spy" game; it may have had its name changed to prevent confusion with the new microgame Eye Spy.

Gameplay[edit]

Wario must be in the spotlight when time runs out. The player should stay on him, but if he goes into the dark, it is not over unless time is up, so the player should stay after him.

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$![edit]

When the player wins, Wario says "Give up!"

  • 1st level difficulty: The spotlight is fairly large.
  • 2nd level difficulty: The spotlight is smaller.
  • 3rd level difficulty: The spotlight is even smaller.

WarioWare Gold[edit]

In later levels, in addition to the spotlight getting smaller, Wario does something to throw off the player. When the player wins, Wario waves two white flags.

  • 1st level difficulty: The spotlight is fairly large, and Wario does not make any tricky movements.
  • 2nd level difficulty: The spotlight is smaller, and Wario moves quicker.
  • 3rd level difficulty: The spotlight is even smaller, and Wario makes a conscious effort to elude the player, taking many twists and turns.
