Template:Levelbox Mount Magmeow is an island located on Lake Lapcat in the Bowser's Fury campaign of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. It is one of the few islands that surrounds the Wasteland Giga Bell. The island is a large volcanic mountain with Switchboards. This island cannot be accessed until the first Cat Shines in Pipe Path Tower and Risky Whisker Island are collected. The name of the island is a pun on "magma" and "meow," which is the sound a cat makes.
If Mario touches the lava on Mount Magmeow while giant during a battle with Fury Bowser, he will take damage.
Cat Shines
- Back Off, Cat Prince Bully!: Obtained by defeating Prince Bully.
- Atop Mount Magmeow: Obtained by reaching the peak of the mountain.
- Hurry! Steer the Switchboards!: Mario must ground-pound the Ground-Pound Switch and transfer between multiple Switchboards to reach the Cat Shine.
- Five Cat Shine Shards: Obtained by collecting the five Cat Shine Shards in the area.
- Blast the Fury Blocks: Obtained by Fury Bowser using his attacks to break open the blocks. The blocks cannot be safely reached until the first Cat Shine is collected, as the black goop is initially right under them.
