Template:Species-infobox Oyaneko[1] are the parents of the calico kittens found in Lake Lapcat in Bowser's Fury. Three different Oyaneko appear in the game, with one being found near each of the three Giga Bells. When Mario first encounters one, it is shown crying, due to its kittens having gone missing. The Oyaneko by the Lakeside Giga Bell has one kitten, the Oyaneko by the Ruins Giga Bell has three, and the Oyaneko by the Wasteland Giga Bell has five.
