The 8-Bit Jumping Mario is a Super glider in Mario Kart Tour. It was introduced in the Mario Bros. Tour and became the signature glider of Mario (SNES) in the Super Mario Kart Tour. The glider is a recreation of Small Mario's jumping sprite from Super Mario Bros. with an 8-bit connecting pole. It increases the chances of getting Mega Mushrooms from Item Boxes and awards additional points for crashing into other drivers while under the effects of a Mega Mushroom.
A variant of this glider called the 8-Bit Jumping Luigi was introduced in the 2020 Mario vs. Luigi Tour and is also classified as a Super glider.
