First appearance Super Mario Bros. Wonder (2023)

Dragons are an extinct species[1] which only appears in two levels of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Their fossils can be found in Deep Magma Bog's Dragon Boneyard and make for either flat or possibly rotating circular platforms that the player can stand on. This level's Wonder Effect brings one of the fossilized dragons back to life. It serves as a platform that the player must ride on in order to traverse the level in a similar fashion to dragons from Yoshi's Story.

Dragons also appear in Deep Magma Bog Special Solar Roller only in their alive form as a result of the Wonder Effect. Spike-Ball Mario must use them as temporary platforms.
