Tara Lyn Strong (née Charendoff; born February 12, 1973) is a Canadian-American actress who has been active since 1986, and has acted in many animated and live-action productions in both the television and film industries. Notable examples include Timmy Turner from The Fairly OddParents, Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Princess Connie Pintincia from CyberAdult Girls and Candy Needlemeyer from The Amazing World of Gumball.

Tara Strong's only credited Mario-related role is providing the voice for Hop Koopa in The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World animated series. She is commonly mistakenly thought to have also voiced Hip Koopa as well, with her official website stating so at one point; Hip Koopa was actually voiced by Stuart Stone.[1] In addition to that, her official website once credited her as the uncredited voice of Bowser Jr. in Super Mario Sunshine[2], but this detail has been removed. According to game's credits, Bowser Jr's voice is actually done by Dolores Rogers.
