Peach Circuit is the introductory track of Mario Kart: Super Circuit, serving as the first race of the Mushroom Cup. Peach's Castle prominently appears in the background of this course. This track shares its music with Mario Circuit and Luigi Circuit.

Peach Circuit reappears in Mario Kart DS as the third race of the Shell Cup, and in Mario Kart Tour starting with the Princess Tour.

Course layout

The course takes place on a simple paved road with grass and trees on both sides of the track. It begins with a sharp left turn followed by the first set of Item Boxes. Racers then take two slight left turns, with a slight right turn in between. There is then another sharp left turn, followed by a slight right turn and another item set. Racers then take a U-turn to the left followed by a brief straight and a 90° turn to the right. Another brief straight then brings racers to the finish line.

While the course features no specific notable shortcuts, racers can use Mushrooms or a Star to drive through the off-road along the course and cut off turns.

Mario Kart DS

Peach Circuit makes its classic course debut in Mario Kart DS as the third course of the Shell Cup. The course mostly remains identical to its original appearance. However, like other GBA courses seen in the game, it shows an enhanced graphical look. Peach's Castle in the background is mirrored in the 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc engine classes; but faces in the same way like in the original appearance in the 150cc Mirror engine class. The course also used to be available on Wi-Fi in VS mode.

Not counting Mario Kart Tour, this is one of only six classic courses in the series to share its music with another classic course in the same game, sharing its music with GBA Luigi Circuit. The other four are GCN Yoshi Circuit and GCN Luigi Circuit in the same game, and DS Wario Stadium and DS Waluigi Pinball in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Missions

There is one mission that takes place on Peach Circuit:

  • Mission 1-2: The player controls Peach, who must collect 15 coins scattered along the track within 30 seconds.

Mario Kart Tour

Peach Circuit as it appears in Mario Kart Tour

Peach Circuit returns in Mario Kart Tour starting from the Princess Tour. It has received a significant overhaul, with drastic changes to the aesthetics. Peach's Castle in the background uses the design from the Mario Kart Tour iteration of 3DS Mario Circuit. A starting line banner has been added, featuring the classic Mario Kart logo with Peach's crown above it and two castle towers flanking it. Toad Houses now appear in the background, as well as blocky mountains, mushrooms, and waterfalls. The bottom portion of the course now borders an ocean, with a lake also now present in its center. Elevation has been added to the course layout. The track overall has been shrunken down somewhat, most notably with the final turn, which is a fair bit shorter.

Unlike the other GBA courses in Mario Kart Tour, the course uses a restored version of its original music from Mario Kart: Super Circuit, albeit with enhanced percussion. It sounds a lot like a version of the song used in a 2002 Japanese commercial for the Nagoya Expressway Public Corporation.[1] This arrangement is also used for GBA Luigi Circuit in Mario Kart Tour.

The course also appears as Peach Circuit R (reversed), Peach Circuit T (with ramps), and Peach Circuit R/T (reversed with ramps). In the R variant, a glide ramp allows racers to cut off a turn halfway through the track. In the T and R/T variants, Mushroom trampolines are added throughout the course.
