Template:Levelbox Stone Spike Conveyors, or Layer-Cake Desert-5, is the fifth level of Layer-Cake Desert in New Super Luigi U. The level is based upon Dry Desert Mushrooms in New Super Mario Bros. U. The level features several moving platforms with Stone Spikes being prominent enemies.
Layout
First off, there is a moving platform with a Stone Spike that leads down to a Star Coin. Soon after, there are several small moving platforms moving in a circle with Stone Spikes above. Then, there is a circle of moving platforms along with the Star Coin above. After a few more moving platforms and Stone Spikes, the player can take a moving platform to the finish.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: The moving platform at the beginning of the level will take Luigi down to the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2: Above the small, red mushroom.
- Star Coin 3: Luigi must take the final platform all the way down for the third Star Coin.

- An 8-Bit Luigi is on a piece of rock at the top of the level.
