Invisible Flying ? Blocks[1] (also called Invisible Winged ? Blocks)[2] are a variant of Flying ? Block and Hidden Block that appears in New Super Mario Bros. They fly in the room, moving back and forth. They can be found by observing the Phantom Hands on the ceiling, which indicate the position of an Invisible Flying ? Block. Unlike most Hidden Blocks, they are solid before being hit; as such, they can be stood on, and can be activated with a Ground Pound.

The only two Invisible Flying ? Blocks appear in World 7-Ghost House. The first is in the section with bridges where the Phantom Hands point toward the block that grants a power-up. The second is in a large room with many Phantom Hands. The player must locate and hit the block to dispense a ? Switch to proceed in the level.
