The Gear Shop is one of three equipment stores located in Toad Town Mall in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and its remake. Of the three shops, it sells the cheapest and least valuable equipment. The Gear Shop's logo is a Mushroom which is also the default rank for the Mario Bros. The Mario Bros. may shop here at any rank making it the earliest equipment shop available in the game.

- "Of the three Gear shops in Toad Town, only this store is open to Mario and Luigi upon their first visit. The Gear here is good and affordably priced, but it's only a taste of what's in stock at the other Gear shops. Invest in some good Gear here, but then head back into the field[sic] battle up to a higher rank!"
