RMX Rainbow Road 1 is a race course in Mario Kart Tour. It is a remix version of the Rainbow Road course from Super Mario Kart that debuted in the Super Mario Kart Tour.
It shares its music with SNES Rainbow Road, which is the same arrangement as in Mario Kart 7.
Course layout
The course uses the same aesthetics as Rainbow Road from Super Mario Kart, but has a different layout. The course starts with a straight path and a left turn. After the turn is another straight path with four Item Boxes and two Star Thwomps. There is a left turn which leads to a glide ramp. In the gliding section, there is a large number of asteroids that can knock the player back, and in the middle of the section there is a small path of road and another glide ramp. After the gliding section there is a right turn, two small ramps and another right turn. After the turn there is a path with two Star Thwomps, four Item Boxes, a right turn, and a glide ramp. In the second gliding section there are five star rings. There is then a left turn leading to the finish line.
The course also appears as RMX Rainbow Road 1R (reversed), RMX Rainbow Road 1T (with ramps), and RMX Rainbow Road 1R/T (reversed with ramps). The former two debuted alongside the normal variant in the Super Mario Kart Tour, while the latter debuted in the 2020 Mario vs. Luigi Tour. In the R variant, two of the star rings are gone, and racers can use a mushroom trampoline to cut off the final turn. In the T and R/T variants, both gliding sections and all Star Thwomps are gone, and some of the road is now constantly wavy. In the R/T variant, there is a glide ramp followed by a brief split path, with a Big Piranha Plant in the middle.
