Jeff Andonuts is one of the main heroes in EarthBound and the son of the scientist Dr. Andonuts. In EarthBound, whereas the rest of Ness's party can utilize PSI attacks, Jeff's attacks use guns and other gadgets, such as various types of bottle rockets and stat-boosting or hindering devices.
Jeff first appears in Mario-related media in Super Smash Bros. Melee as a collectible trophy, along with Ness's other companions, Paula and Poo.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Jeff appears as an Assist Trophy. When summoned, he prepares and launches a set of five bottle rockets, which home in on opponents. There will always be four small bottle rockets followed by a big bottle rocket at the end. Occasionally, Jeff may set up a second round of bottle rockets to launch at foes. Jeff also appears as a Sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl that can only be equipped by Ness and Lucas. When equipped, it gives a bonus of +24 to all of their attacks.

Another of Ness's close friends in EarthBound, Jeff is the only son of the famous scientist, Dr. Andonuts. Jeff is a mechanical genius, able to turn common, broken tools into complex weapons like the Hungry HP-sucker and the Slime Generator. He's a bit on the shy side but incredibly intelligent and brave in the heat of battle. |

EU: This boy from EarthBound is the same age as Ness and goes to Snow Wood Boarding School. His dad, the genius scientist Dr. Andonuts, was the brain behind Jeff's weapon: the big bottle rocket. It's made up of four small missiles and one large one. And...who knows? Maybe you'll even get some extra firepower out of it! |
