Ring Burners[1][2] are enemies in Super Mario 3D World and its port. They are encountered in only three levels: Cakewalk Flip, Rainbow Run, and Champion's Road. Ring Burners have the same insignia commonly found on Bill Blasters and closely resemble Ball Beamers from Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 in both appearance and function, but are red in color. Ring Beamers do not move from their spot, but approaching them causes them to launch square or circular plasma rings outward from their centers. Their plasma rings can be avoided by jumping, and they evaporate at a certain distance. As with Sentry Beams, Ring Burners can be disabled if stood on, though they cannot be destroyed by any means.
