"The Power of Love" is the eighth cover song from The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, performed by The Starlite Orchestra & Singers. This cover of the Huey Lewis and the News song of the same name plays in "Love 'Em and Leave 'Em" when Queen Rotunda gives chase to Mario after having drunk the Passion Potion. The song would eventually be replaced by the instrumental of "My Karoobi" in subsequent airings.
