When the moon hits your eye like...a big-a pizza pie, that's amore!
When the world seems to shine...like you had too much wine, that's amore!
When the...stars make you drool just like pasta e fasul,
That's amore!
That's amore!
When you dance down the street with a cloud at your feet, you're in love
Oh, you're not dreamin', signore!
Scusami, but you see, back in old Napoli,
That's amore!
Amore!
That's amore!

Mario Teaches Typing 2[edit]

In Mario Teaches Typing 2, Mario's face sings a parody of "That's Amore" in one of his idle animations. His second line, "When an eel lunges out, and he takes a bite of your snout, that's a moray!" more resembles a parody of the song featured in Spider Robinson's book The Callahan Touch.

Can I sing a song for you?
When the moon hits your eye, like a big pizza pie, that's amore!
When an eel lunges out, and it takes a bite of your snout, that's a moray!
Get it? A moray eel?
Heeheeheeheehee! I say the funny!

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie[edit]

In The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Luigi and Yoshi sing the first line of "That's Amore" while teasing Mario about having feelings for Princess Peach.

Luigi: When! The! Moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's—
Yoshi: A-Yoshi!
