Turtlevania, also called the Land of Turtlevania,[1] is a location appearing in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Count Koopula", appearing as a forested region with many trees and hills. It is a reference to the region of Transylvania, located in Romania, being a portmanteau of it and the word "turtle." Count Koopula's castle is located in Turtlevania.
