Mason is a character in Mario Tennis: Power Tour. He holds the third rank in the Junior Class at the Academy as well as a power-type player. He is arrogant and convinced that he is a "tennis phenom". After the player defeats him in singles, he is shocked at his loss. As the player continues to rank up, he appears to congratulate him, but his doubles partner Chad reveals that he is lying and has been insulting their playstyle behind their backs. Mason will get his rank back after the player ranks up to first in Junior Class, and then move up to second rank as soon as the player ranks into Senior Class.
