Super Mario 64

  • Instruction booklet description: Jump and stomp on some enemies.

Yoshi's Story

  • Instruction booklet description: If you use the Control Stick with the A Button, you can jump farther.

Donkey Kong 64

  • Instruction booklet description (A Button): Makes the Kongs jump. Hold the A Button longer to make them jump higher.

Paper Mario

  • Instruction booklet description (overworld): Jump on enemies, jump to higher places, hit blocks in midair and more!
  • Instruction booklet description (battle): Jump on your enemy's head.
    You can jump on opponents that are behind others and those that are in midair.
    If you jump on an opponent that has a spike on its head, you will take damage.

Super Mario Advance

  • Instruction booklet description:

      Press the A Button while standing still to jump from that spot. You won't be able to jump very high like this.

      Press the A Button while pressing either +Control Pad left or +Control Pad right to perform a running jump. You can jump higher this way than with a standing jump, so it's easier to avoid enemy attacks.

      The longer you hold down the A Button, the higher you jump. If you jump off an enemy, you'll go even farther.

      Use this basic action to jump up small distances, and to hit blocks from underneath. The adult Bros. can jump higher than their diminutive counterparts. If you initiate battle by jumping on an enemy, you'll do damage to all enemies when the battle begins.

      Press the big brother's button just as he's landing on the enemy.

      Press the jump button to jump: press and release for short jumps, and press and hold for longer jumps. Jumping on top of enemies is the most basic way to attack them. If you press the jump button right when you land on an enemy, you'll be able to jump higher than usual.

      Slide your stylus up on a stopped Mini Mario to make him jump straight up.
