Bertha is a Big Cheep Cheep who appears in the Super Mario Bros. comics. Her appearance differs between the two comics that she appears in. In "Love Flounders," she is orange in color with yellow lips and fins. In "Fins and Roses," however, her body is colored red while her lips and fins are white, more closely resembling the Big Cheep Cheep's artwork in Super Mario Bros. 3.
History
"Love Flounders"
Bertha is first mentioned in the Super Mario Bros. comic "Love Flounders," where Stanley the Talking Fish tells Mario, who is in a Frog Suit and looking for some chuckberries to give to Princess Toadstool, that he asked her out on a date. However, as he has broken up with her and is now dating Smookers, he asks Mario to break his date for him.
