In Super Mario Bros.: Peach-hime Kyūshutsu Dai Sakusen!, a large Buzzy Beetle appears during a walking montage scene. It walks forward with a smaller Buzzy Beetle behind it. However, Mario uses the power of the flower he had recently acquired to throw a fireball at it. This defeats the Buzzy Beetle, although Buzzy Beetles are impervious to fireballs in the games.
