bublygalacticmission.com was a website created by bubly to detail and provide information on the Galactic Mission promotion themed around The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The site partially launched in late February when bubly cans themed after the film became available in stores, and then fully launched with the start of the Galactic Mission promotion on March 2. As the promotion ended on May 9, 2026, the website has been taken offline.[1]

The site featured a "How to scan" section, which is intended to help users who are having trouble scanning the QR codes on the bubly cans. Users must ensure that the film's logo is clearly visible when scanning, and that they place the cans in a well-lit area. In addition, the site featured a "Star Bit Store" (also seemingly referred to as the "Star Bits Bazaar") within which users could spend the digital Star Bits gained from scanning the cans to obtain exclusive merchandise. To do this, however, the user was to create an account and verify their email. Users were able to scan up to ten cans per day.
Each item that the user was able to purchase with their Star Bits was part of a certain "level" based on its price. There were four levels in total. The site also provided additional context on what the participant wins if they find a Galaxy Can (which depicts Rosalina); in addition to an all-expenses paid two-day trip for two to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, participants won a $300 food voucher prepaid gift card, two VIP experiences at the Space Center, and an $80 food voucher that can be used at the Space Center.
If the user found a Galaxy Can, they were to go to the "galaxy can redemption" section of the website, at which they were asked to input the 10-digit code on the can.
The official rules stated that the website's server is the "official clock" for the promotion. After creating an account, if the user chose to scan a can they had purchased, users were asked to launch their device's camera and grant permission for the site to access their camera in order to scan the bubly cans. Upon scanning the can, users received one "Game Play", which gave the user a random amount of Star Bits between one and 5,000. In addition to being able to spend their Star Bits, users also had the option to bank them.
Each time the user scanned a product, said product was added to a "Transaction history" section of the user's account profile. Users also had the ability to review their Star Bits within their account page. The rules also stated that any remaining Star Bits that the user had once the promotion ended were void.

- Prior to launch, the site only contained a splash screen featuring artwork from The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, the promotion's logo, and the site's launch date, in addition to a section containing the rules for the promotion and a frequently asked questions section. Both pages provided information on the promotion not found in the original press release, in addition to information about the site that had not yet been published.
- The filename for the Galaxy Can graphic on the "galaxy can redemption" section of the site erroneously referred to Rosalina as Princess Peach.[2]
