The Parachute Cap Badge in Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park is an Action Badge that provides characters with the ability to descend slowly while in midair by opening a parachute cap. The badge's effects can be activated by pressing or shaking the controller, replacing the midair spin.
Each character pulls out a parachute cap regardless of whether they normally wear a cap. The caps are larger than Mario and Luigi's regular caps but likewise are color-coordinated with each character and feature each character's emblem. When using the badge's effects while carrying an item, the player holds the item between their feet.
The badge is gifted by a Poplin in Badge House in Pipe-Rock Plateau. As a result, obtaining the badge is necessary to complete the game.
In Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, the Parachute Cap Badge is incorporated into two Dual Badges, Parachute Cap + Floating High Jump and Parachute Cap + Boosting Spin Jump. When is pressed or the controller is shaken while the latter badge is used, characters will perform the spin jump holding the parachute cap held before transitioning into gliding with the parachute cap.

Notes[edit]
- The Parachute Cap Badge emulates Princess Peach's Floating Jump from other games in the Super Mario series.
- Prior to version 1.2.1 of Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, Rosalina would have Peach's emblem on her parachute cap while in Elephant form.
