"The Giant Arises" is a theme composed for Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It is a jazz theme with synth backing, often heard playing before boss battles. It can be played in the Sticker Museum.
In Paper Mario: Color Splash, a faithful arrangement of the theme titled "Bowser's Theme" plays before the boss fight with Bowser. It is available on the record for Black Bowser's Castle in the Prisma Museum. Elements of this track are also heard in "Bowser Battle" and "Blackout."
In Paper Mario: The Origami King, a motif from "The Giant Arises" is included in the track "Battle at Bowser's Castle."
