Miki-chan[1] is a character that appears in Super Mario Kart 3 of the Super Mario Kodansha series. She is a blonde Amazon that lives in the Jungle Course. Like everyone in her tribe, her design is taken directly from Sue, the humanized Suu from the Super Mario Land manga, the only difference being the cavewoman outfit and the hair color.

During a long-lasting period of drought, the Amazon decides to make a sacrifice to who they believe to be the god responsible for it: a Blargg living inside their volcano. Luigi is captured by a group of them formed by Miki-chan, queen Run, and another Amazon, but while they carry him to their village, Miki-chan trips on a rock, and is accidentally left behind, locked out of the cave entrance to the volcano village. Mario and Princess Peach, looking for Luigi, find his hat and Miki, who explains them everything. After opening the entrance, Mario and Peach take Miki on their kart and are guided by her through the cave system, even warning them of a dangeroud cliff just outside the cave exit. Subsequently, Miki-chan has no more relevant roles after arriving in the village.
