| Variant of | Charvaargh Sandmaargh |
Sand-dwelling Charvaarghs[1] appear in Mario Kart World. They have long dragon-like bodies like the lava-dwelling ones, and a similar coloration and sandy appearance to Sandmaarghs. Their eyes glow modestly in the dark. The Charvaarghs move in a set path in deserts by leaping in and out of sand in arches like the lava ones, hitting any drivers on their way. They are found around Desert Hills, Shy Guy Bazaar and the surrounding region.
Missions[edit]
The sand-dwelling Charvaarghs are featured in the following missions:
| Image | In-game text | Location | Time limit (seconds) | Description | Sticker |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rescue blue coins from the sands! | Chain Chomp Desert | 60.00 | The player must collect 8 blue coins in Chain Chomp Desert, while Charvaarghs leap around the arena every few seconds. | ||
| Collect blue coins in the dried-up oasis! | Shy Guy Bazaar | 40.00 | The player must collect 8 blue coins in a dried-up oasis while avoiding Charvaarghs. | ||
| Use items to blitz across the desert sands! | Mario Bros. Circuit | 15.00 | The player must drive offroad with a row of Double Item Boxes at the start and some Item Boxes further along to help the player reach the goal ring, which is located on a rock within the desert. Item Boxes always give the player a Dash Mushroom or a Super Star. There are some rocks for performing tricks, as well as some Dry Bones and sand-dwelling Charvaarghs as obstacles. There are three rings that each add 3 seconds to the timer. |
