Variant of Bramball

Signal Bugs are mechanical variants of Bramballs found in Mario Kart World. They are composed of a green traffic light with a face resembling a Bramball's, along with two long legs made of coiled metal wires. Signal Bug are commonly found along highways and other routes in the game, sometimes in groups of three. They periodically alternate between two positions on the road by flipping upside down from side to side, and activate once both feet are on the ground, signified by their heads lighting up. When active, Signal Bugs grant a boost to drivers who pass under it, as if they passed through a ring.
