Mario Kart 8[edit]
Mario Kart 8 marks the first appearance of "Bone-Dry Dunes," and it is used for the same purpose in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The theme also appears on the Mario Kart 8 Original Soundtrack. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit[edit]
In Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, "Bone-Dry Dunes" plays in Gusty Galaxy.
Mario Kart World[edit]
In Mario Kart World, an arrangement of "Bone-Dry Dunes" can play in Free Roam and during routes in Grand Prix or VS Race. In Grand Prix, it is one of three arrangements that can play on the route from Shy Guy Bazaar to Wario Stadium in the Flower Cup.
