Underpinning this, you have the slap bass and the four-to-the-floor beat. When you add that forceful melody, it somehow sounds like a shamisen.”

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[edit]
In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, an arrangement of "Dragon Driftway" titled "Dragon Palace" plays in the battle course of the same name. In the exterior portion of the course, rhythmic vocalizations are added to the theme.

Mario Kart World[edit]
In Mario Kart World, an arrangement of "Dragon Driftway" can play in Free Roam and during routes in Grand Prix or VS Race. In Grand Prix, it is one of four arrangements that can play on the route from Cheep Cheep Falls to Dandelion Depths in the Leaf Cup.
