Mario Kart 8[edit]
While driving in the section with Shy Guys, a variation of the theme featuring Shy Guy vocalizations is played instead. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

In Mario Kart World, an arrangement of "Wild Woods" can play in Free Roam and during routes in VS Race. In Grand Prix, it is one of three arrangements that can play on the route from Acorn Heights to Mario Circuit in the Special Cup.
