Wave 2 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass marks the first appearance of "Sky-High Sundae". A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.
An arrangement of "Sky-High Sundae" is incorporated in the theme that plays during the staff credits for the Booster Course Pass approximately 3 minutes and 48 seconds in. It is titled "Staff Credits (Booster Course Pass)" in the Nintendo Music app.

Mario Kart Tour[edit]
In Mario Kart Tour, an arrangement of "Sky-High Sundae" plays in the race course of the same name. It is similar to the original Mario Kart 8 Deluxe version, but it uses entirely synthesized instrumentation rather than live-performed instruments.

Mario Kart World[edit]
In Mario Kart World, an arrangement of "Sky-High Sundae" plays when racing in the course of the same name. It is very similar to the original Mario Kart 8 Deluxe version, though it is mixed and mastered differently. In particular, the percussion track is much more prominent and punchier.
When approaching Sky-High Sundae from a route or during a rally before reaching the course's finish line, a simple prelude arrangement of "Sky-High Sundae" plays. An additional arrangement of the prelude theme without the piano plays during the rolling start of the Ice Rally. In Knockout Tour, leaving Sky-High Sundae causes the theme to transition into a coda.
A brief arrangement of the prelude version of "Sky-High Sundae" is incorporated in the theme that plays during the intro cutscene for the Star Cup.
