"Chain Chomp Wheel"[1] is a musical theme in Mario Kart Wii, where it plays in the battle course of the same name. This theme consists of brass, clarinet, saxophone instrumentation and heavy staccato.

Mario Kart Wii[edit]
Mario Kart Wii marks the first appearance of "Chain Chomp Wheel". It is also included in the official Mario Kart Wii Platinum Soundtrack album.
Mario Kart World[edit]
In Mario Kart World, an arrangement of "Chain Chomp Wheel" plays in Moo Moo Meadows during battles.

- The two horns heard after the 20-second mark in this theme are sampled in the song "#14 crush" from Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion, which was also composed by Ryo Nagamatsu,[3] one of the composers for Mario Kart Wii.
