"Frappe Snowland,"[1][2] also known as "Sherbet Land,"[1] "Frappe Snowland/Sherbet Land,"[3] or simply "Snow,"[4] is a musical theme composed by Kenta Nagata for Mario Kart 64, where it plays in Frappe Snowland and Sherbet Land.

Mario Kart series[edit]

Mario Kart 64[edit]

Mario Kart 64 marks the first appearance of "Frappe Snowland." It is also included in the official soundtrack albums Mario Kart 64 Race Tracks, Mario Kart 64 Original Soundtrack, and Mario Kart 64: Greatest Hits Soundtrack.

Mario Kart DS[edit]

In Mario Kart DS, an arrangement of "Frappe Snowland" arranged by Shinobu Tanaka plays in N64 Frappe Snowland.

Mario Kart Wii[edit]

In Mario Kart Wii, an arrangement of "Frappe Snowland" plays in N64 Sherbet Land. This arrangement uses higher quality samples, but it is otherwise near identical to the original.

Mario Kart Tour[edit]

In Mario Kart Tour, the original version of "Frappe Snowland" plays in N64 Frappe Snowland, which was first added in the Ice Tour.

Mario Kart World[edit]

Mario Kart World features two different arrangements of "Frappe Snowland": a faster "daytime" arrangement and a calmer "nighttime" arrangement. Both can play in Free Roam, with the "nighttime" arrangement being exclusive to that mode. The "daytime" arrangement can also play during routes in Grand Prix or VS Race; in Grand Prix, it is one of three arrangements that can play on the route from DK Pass to Starview Peak in the Star Cup; in VS Race, it can play on routes from snowy tracks like DK Pass, Starview Peak and Sky-High Sundae.

Mario & Sonic series[edit]

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games[edit]

In the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, an arrangement of "Frappe Snowland" plays in the Dream Curling event, likewise titled "Dream Curling" in the game's sound test.

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games[edit]

In Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, an arrangement of "Frappe Snowland" plays in the Snowball Scrimmage Dream Event. It is titled "Snowball Scrimmage / Sherbet Land: Mario Kart Wii (Remix)" in the game's sound test.

Mario Kart 64 on Club Circuit[edit]

The Mario Kart 64 on Club Circuit album features a slower-paced arrangement of "Frappe Snowland," simply titled "snow." This arrangement mixes funk instrumentation with sound effects and character voice clips from the original game.
