"Choco Island"[1] is a musical theme composed by Soyo Oka for Super Mario Kart, where it plays in Choco Island 1 and Choco Island 2.

Super Mario Kart marks the first appearance of "Choco Island".

Mario Kart: Super Circuit[edit]

In Mario Kart: Super Circuit, an arrangement of "Choco Island" with chiptune instrumentation plays in Choco Island 1 and Choco Island 2.

Mario Kart DS[edit]

Mario Kart Tour[edit]

In Mario Kart Tour, the Mario Kart DS arrangement of "Choco Island" plays in SNES Choco Island 1, SNES Choco Island 2, RMX Choco Island 1, and RMX Choco Island 2.

Mario Kart World[edit]

Mario Kart World features two arrangements of "Choco Island".

A samba-jazz arrangement of "Choco Island" can play in Free Roam during the day, on the route from Choco Mountain to Toad's Factory in the Lightning Cup, and on any VS Race route during the day. It is titled "Choco Island (Samba) (Super Mario Kart)" in the Nintendo Music app and simply "Choco Island (Samba Ver.)" in the game's pause menu.

A bossa nova arrangement of "Choco Island" can play exclusively in Free Roam during the day. It is titled "Choco Island (Bossa Nova) (Super Mario Kart)" in the Nintendo Music app and simply "Choco Island (Bossa Nova Ver.)" in the game's pause menu.

The original version of "Choco Island" plays during the tribute missions for the Choco Island courses near Choco Mountain. It is titled "Choco Island (Mission)" in the Nintendo Music app.
