"Starship Mario"[2] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario Galaxy 2, where it plays on Starship Mario.
"Starship Mario" serves the same role in Super Mario Galaxy 2 as "Rosalina in the Observatory" did in Super Mario Galaxy. Both themes have three versions, each being more orchestrated than the previous, that correspond with the player's progression through the game. "Starship Mario 1" plays on Starship Mario after the player beats "Storming the Sky Fleet".
