Both "Luma" and "A Wish" return in the Nintendo Switch ports, Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2, for the same purposes.

Super Mario Galaxy 2[edit]

In Super Mario Galaxy 2 and the Nintendo Switch port, Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2, an arrangement of "Luma" arranged by Mahito Yokota plays during the after-credits cutscene unlocked after getting 120 Stars. It is titled "The Luma and the Hat" in the Nintendo Music app. It is also included in the official Super Mario Galaxy 2 Original Soundtrack album.

Exclusively in the Nintendo Switch version of Super Mario Galaxy 2, an arrangement of "Family" from Super Mario Galaxy that incorporates "Luma" as a strings countermelody plays during the epilogue chapter of Rosalina's Storybook, "Epilogue: Journey", which was added in the version 1.4.0 update. It is likewise titled "Journey" in the Nintendo Music app.
