"The Galaxy Reactor" and "Flying Mario" both incorporate a trumpet quote of "Overture".
"Super Mario Galaxy", which plays during the game's credits, is a triumphant reprise of "Overture". It also incorporates an arrangement of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" from the same game.
In addition, several jingles from the game are arrangements of "Overture". These jingles have not been featured on any of the game's soundtrack releases, in contrast to some of the equivalent jingles in Super Mario Galaxy 2. As such, their titles and arrangers are unknown.
The jingle that plays in the cutscene as Mario gains the ability to spin from Luma is a dramatic arrangement of "Overture".
A brief arrangement of "Overture" plays in the introduction cutscene to each mission.
The jingle heard when collecting a Power Star is a short arrangement of "Overture". The jingle heard when collecting a Grand Star is a more elaborate arrangement.
The catch fanfare heard after returning to the Comet Observatory with a Power Star is a brief arrangement of "Overture".
The theme that plays in the cutscene where the final Grand Star emerges from the Galaxy Reactor after defeating Bowser features a quote of "Overture".
