"World 8 Map (Dark Land)"[1] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario Bros. 3, where it plays in the overworld map for Dark Land, the eight and final world of the game. A similar theme is played as the opening of "Bowser BGM" in Super Mario World.

Super Mario All-Stars[edit]

In Super Mario All-Stars, its re-release Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World, and its Wii port, Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition, an arrangement of "World 8 Map (Dark Land)" plays in the overworld map for the eighth and final world of the game's remake of Super Mario Bros. 3.
