"GCN Yoshi Circuit,"[1] alternatively formatted as "GCN Yoshi Circuit,"[2] is a musical theme originally from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, where it can be heard in Yoshi Circuit, Mario Circuit, and Luigi Circuit. It has gone on to reappear in several games, usually alongside one of its three original circuits.

Mario Kart DS[edit]
Mario Kart DS features an arrangement of "GCN Yoshi Circuit" that can be heard in GCN Yoshi Circuit and GCN Luigi Circuit. It is similar to the original, but more compressed and uses slightly different instrumentation.

Mario Kart 8[edit]
In Mario Kart 8, an arrangement of "GCN Yoshi Circuit" can be heard in its titular course, which was added in the The Legend of Zelda × Mario Kart 8 DLC. The arrangement is accompanied with the following liner notes in the Mario Kart 8 Original Soundtrack:
"For this track, in order to fully bring out Yoshi's whimsical nature, we swapped the brass part used in the original track with a saxophone ensemble. We also rerecorded that characteristic choppy guitar sound live. We left the whistling part untouched, though!"
This arrangement is reused for the same purpose in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
