"New Donk City,"[2][3] also known as "New Donk City: Daytime,"[4] is a musical theme composed by Naoto Kubo for Super Mario Odyssey, where it plays in the Metro Kingdom after the mission "The Scourge on the Skyscraper" is completed. It starts playing when Mario sets foot on the kingdom's main island, meaning it does not play at the Odyssey's landing area or the Isolated Rooftop.

Super Mario Odyssey[edit]

Super Mario Odyssey marks the first appearance of "New Donk City". It is also included in the official albums Super Mario Odyssey Sound Selection and Super Mario Odyssey Original Soundtrack.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker[edit]

Exclusively in the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS versions of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, the original version of "New Donk City" plays in the level Uptown, Downtown.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the original version of "New Donk City" can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage.
